The figurine presents a girl gathering and carrying viburnum fruits. Kalina is widely used in modern and traditional medicine.

In Ukraine, kalina is seen as a national symbol and the concept of young girl's love and tenderness. It is the key element of the Ukrainian traditional wreath.

This figurine is marked with a swan mark used by Polonne factory from 1973. The red colour means first quality of the figurine.
