This serving bowl was handpainted. The painter left his initials S.A. on the plate.

It is marked on the base:
Sorau
Carstens Porzellan
Made in Germany

This is an export Sorau Carstens mark, which was in use in the 1925 - 1940 period.

The plate is 25 cm in diameter.
