Chinese five-claw dragon plate

The plate features polychrome enamel decoration of dragons, fruits and flowers on yellow ground.

On the plate are pictured five five-clawed dragons. Only Imperial Dragons have five claws. All others Chinese dragons have four of them.

There are also medallions on the plate. Inside two of them are Chinese symbols (Fu) for blessing, happiness and good fortune.

Other two have inside symbols of wealth and money (Cai).

The plate is marked. It is 21.7 cm in diameter.
