This souvenir vintage ashtray is just 10.5 cm in diameter. Kranichfeld town is home to two castles Oberschloss and Niederburg. On this porcelain piece is pictured Oberschloss castle.

The Oberschloss castle is situated on the top of a hill. The caste was built in Romanesque style in the 12th century. Later around 1530 it was rebuilt according to Renaissance style. Nowadays Oberschloss houses a local history museum.
