The postcard uses a nature observation watercolour by Edith Holden.

Edith Holden was an illustrator of children's books. She was born in 1871 and died in 1920. She was forgotten till 1970s, when her great-niece showed a publisher her watercolours and nature observations. It was published in 1977 as The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady. By 2000 was sold more than six million copies.
