One of the last pieces produced in Luxembourg by Villeroy & Boch.

Villeroy & Boch NewWave Caffé Bambu was produced from 2009 to 2010. The company's Luxembourg factory was closed down in 2010.

The pattern was a part of Colors of Indonesia series. It was meant to be a part of products reffering to diffrent coffee regions of the world. New Wave Caffé Bambu pattern was inspired by the bamboo typical to Indonesia and Thailand, the pattern appears in various shades of green, spiced up with a warm rose pink.

This collection included an espresso cup, cappuccino mug, mug with handle, café au lait cup and two matching, generously-proportioned, elongated saucers.
